Become part of the cheerleading team for the whole study year! Perfect if you’re already a little experienced with cheerleading, gymnastics, or dance. Join the Amsterdam Cheerleading Squad and let’s go on an adventure.

Training days:

• Tuesdays 19:00 – 21:00 at Universum
• Thursdays 20:30 – 22:30 at Amstelcampus

Cheerleading at USC is taught by Asiah Capponi.

Asiah is a student at the University of Amsterdam. She’s originally from Italy, where she has been part of Neon Athletics Cheerleading for four years as an athlete and a coach.

Asiah’s passion for the sport started in the US, side-line cheering at American Football matches. Now, her mission is to spread her cheerleading knowledge around and give other students the opportunity to discover its thrills.

Wear comfortable clothing in which you can move easily and flexibly. Make sure to have a change of clean and comfortable sneakers to use inside the gym, and always have your hair tied.
