USC Weightlifting Cup for beginners
- Thursday, April 10th, 19:00-21:00, USC Universum weightlifting area
- Weigh-in and warm-up available from at 18:00.
- Sign up via the webshop. Participation costs €3 for category 1 members and €5 for category 2 and 3 members.
- The event is for all levels and very suitable for beginners!
- Singlet is optional :)
What can I expect?
- The first lift will start promptly at 19:00, so make sure you’re present before 18:30 to weigh in and possibly begin your warming up.
- A weightlifting competition consists of two events: the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk. A competition always starts with the Snatch as the first event.
- Each participant gets three attempts per event to set a weight record. The highest weight achieved in each event counts toward the final score.
