Climbing – courses

Beginners course

• 4 classes, 2 hours each.
• You will finish the course with the NKBV certificate Indoor Toprope. With this certificate you can climb in any Dutch climbing gym.
• Participation in all 4 classes is required. Last-minute problem? Send an email to sportklimmen@uscsport.nl asap!
• This course starts multiple times per year.

Intermediate course

• 4 classes, 2 hours each.
• Climbing level: 5a – 5c.
• Improve your efficiency and technique.
• Required experience: you have finished the beginners course or you have similar experience.
• This course starts multiple times per year.

Indoor lead climbing course

• 5 classes, 2 hours each.
• You can obtain an NKBV certificate Lead Climbing after passing the exam.
• Participation in all 5 classes is required. Last-minute problem? Send an email to sportklimmen@uscsport.nl asap!
• Required experience: you can at least climb a 5c without blocks and you have a minimum of 6 months of toprope experience.
• This course starts multiple times per year.

The use of climbing gear and climbing shoes is included in the course fee. Bring an elastic band if you have long hair.

It is possible to arrange an introduction class for large groups (e.g. student associations, schools) at a favourable fee. For rates and possibilities please contact sportklimmen@uscsport.nl.

When you’ve finished the beginners course, or when you have an indoor toprope certificate already, you can also climb independently at USC!
