    Fitness at USC

    Fitness at USC is very cheap for students in Amsterdam.
    Fair fees for non-students as well.
    1 membership allows you to train at 4 USC locations in Amsterdam.
    You can also join all group fitness classes.
    Corona proof: mandatory reservations and additional house rules.

    Which membership do you choose?

    FITNESS YEAR
     you’re stuck with us for a year, after which you can cancel your membership monthly. 

    FITNESS FLEX
    a little more expensive but a lot more flexible, this membership can be canceled monthly from scratch.

    15x ENTRY
    15x entry to a sport in the passe-partout, to be used within 6 months.

    Making a reservation and checking in

    • Make a reservation in the timetable above.
    • Book your group class in the timetable on the group fitness page.
    • You need a reservation for every visit to USC.
    • You can make a reservation 6 days in advance.
    • You can have 2 active reservations for the upcoming 6 days. But as soon as your first reservation is over, you can make a new one. So, you can work out more than twice a week (if there are free spots)!
    • The number of reservations is unlimited on the day itself.
    • You book an entry time, for example from 17.00 to 17.30, during which you can enter.
    • You can enter half an hour before the start of your entry time, with the exception of the first slot of the day. After your entry time, you can no longer enter. Have you booked an entry time from 17.00 to 17.30, this means you can enter between 16.30 and 17.30.
    • Are you too late? We’ll register a no show. You can however directly book the next entry time (if there are free spots). If you do so, you can start training immediately, since you can enter half an hour before the start of your entry time.
    • There is no end time, so you can work out as long as you like (although, we are going to bed at some point…). This means you no longer have to book a double timeslot.
    • You can choose how you enter USC: by using the finger scan or by using the My USC – mobile access app. Download the app: Android and iOS.
    • If you choose to use the My USC – mobile access app, you check in by scanning the QR code at the access gates. This way (or by using your finger scan) you’re automatically checked in.
    • Bring a towel and a filled water bottle.
    • Bring your own material like elastic bands or ankle weights. We don’t lend such material. You can buy some sports material as well as towels at our front desk.
    • Read all additional house and reservation rules before heading to USC. We can only keep things safe together.

    Cancelling and no show fee

    Booked a class, but can’t make it? Please cancel in advance: our capacity is limited!

    • Cancel up to one hour before the start of your reservation (but earlier is encouraged!).
    • Are you not cancelling (on time)? Then you risk a no show fee of €3,-.
    • Are you not paying the no show fee? In that case you can’t make a reservation/work out for 2 weeks.
    • Your no show fee doesn’t end up on the big USC company pile. Check in which sports goal we’re investing the no show fee income.

    Fitness house rules

    Apart from the general USC house rules, I agree with the following fitness house rules:

    • I always follow the instructions given by the instructor present;
    • For hygienic purposes, I always use a towel during my workout;
    • After use, I make sure all materials are left clean and orderly;
    • I know how to use materials in the fitness and I use them in a proper way;
    • Whenever I am not making use of any sports materials, someone else can make use of them;
    • I replace weights such as discs, dumbbells and kettlebells in the right place after use. I do not leave any weights on the fitness machines or on the floor;
    • I make use of materials in an appropriate way;
    • I use the foam roll and massage balls only on the abs floor;
    • I can take my shoes off on the abs floor, but I keep my socks on;
    • I am aware that only USC fitness instructors control musical equipment and televisions;
    • I make use of magnesium only on the weight lifting floor;
    • Whenever I make use of barbells, I use barbell collars.

    ASC membership

    If you only want to work out at ASC and you’re a category II or III member, our ASC membership is the best membership for you. You get unlimited access to the ASC gym, 6 days a week, including all group fitness classes at ASC. Get your ASC membership online!

    First payment: pro rata
    When purchasing a fitness year or flex membership, you’ll pay a pro rata amount.

    Direct debit
    Subsequently, in the first week of every month, a term will be collected by direct debit.

    Passe-partout membership
    Work out in the fitness and join many more sports with a passe-partout membership.

    Canceling is simple
    Send an e-mail to usc@uscsport.nl, or cancel your membership in My USC. Your membership will expire on the last day of that month.
